Financing, Funding and Grants For Accessible Home Adaptations
There are many sources of financing and funding to help you with home or commercial elevator projects, including tax rebates. For example, BC Housing’s RAHA program offers up to $20,000 rebates on accessibility lifts as part of accessible home renovations for qualifying individuals.
Okanagan Elevator also offers project financing to help you make your accessibility needs a reality.
We Stand By Our Service and Maintenance
Elevators and lifts work well and last longer with good service and maintenance.
All residential elevators and lifts should have maintenance and testing completed at intervals determined by the equipment manufacturer. Having your equipment maintained by our licensed, certified elevating devices mechanics is the best way to ensure the safety and reliability of your equipment.
Okanagan Elevator offers elevator service at a reasonable price, as well as 24/7 emergency callback service. We also offer a variety of maintenance contracts to suit your needs. All maintenance customers get priority service and savings on parts and labor. All work we do is backed by our 30-day service guarantee.
The British Columbia Elevating Devices Safety Regulation mandates that all commercial elevators and accessibility lifts must have maintenance completed at intervals that do not exceed 3 months. With additional requirements for category testing annually as well as 3 year and 5 year intervals. Okanagan Elevator can help you plan a schedule for these regulatory requirements.
Does your old equipment keep breaking down? find out about our modifications and alterations and how they can get your old equipment working like new.
Free Estimates On Alterations and Modifications
As your needs change, does your elevator need updating? Okanagan Elevator can help.
There are many parts on an elevator that don’t wear out. Rather than a costly full teardown and rebuild, Okanagan Elevator can modify your existing equipment and keep it running like new. By stripping out and replacing the parts that need replacing, and keeping the ones that don’t, we can save you time and money. We will work around door frames so you may not need additional finishing, drywall or masonry work. On smaller projects your life will only be impacted as little as a few weeks.
If you want to prolong the life of your existing equipment, ask us for a free estimate for service and maintenance.
Our Vision
At Okanagan Elevator, we provide reliable elevators that you can trust. We believe elevators can add convenience and comfort to any home. If you need help to make your home more accessible, we want to provide that service at a reasonable price.

Our Values
Okanagan Elevator only installs the best, most reliable equipment on the market. If we can’t stand behind the equipment we install, then why bother installing it? We want our customers to know that we operate with full honesty and integrity. We won’t tell you we can do something we know we can’t. We stand by the service we provide. We won’t charge you for work we didn’t do.
OUR MISSION
At Okanagan Elevator, we want you, our customer, to feel safe and taken care of every step of the way.
